Adam Der is a rising senior at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, majoring in Computer Engineering. Adam intends to earn a PhD in Electrical Engineering. During this summer, he worked with Dr. Gymama Slaughter to design and fabricate Resistance Temperature Detectors to be implemented into a wireless sensor network in order to monitor temperature in a museum to assist in preserving artwork. Outside of lab, he enjoys hiking, playing board games, and playing pick-up sports games.
