Christina Shrestha is a Biochemistry major on the pre-med track at UMBC. She will participate in the SCIART program to investigate a component of red pigment cinnabar which is present in artworks and study its degradation. She is excited to participate in interdisciplinary research and use chemistry for art conservation. For fun, she likes reading, going on hikes or painting abstract artworks
