Jasper Tucker studied Computer Science at Anne Arundel Community College before enrolling in the Transfer Studies program to attend UMBC. Initially majoring solely in Chemistry, he was later inspired to add a Math minor by a particularly good Calculus 2 professor. Coming full circle, the computational chemistry 2021 SCIART program seemed the perfect blend of computers, chemistry, and math and drew an attention and passion that he hopes to continue as a research or possible career path.
