Amulya Shrestha is a rising senior at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is majoring in computer engineering and intends to earn a PhD in computer engineering and immerse himself into artificial intelligence. He is pursuing computer engineering because he considers it the perfect integration of hardware and software in a given system. This summer, he is working with Professor Slaughter to design and fabricate a Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) in order to monitor temperature in a museum for the conservation of artworks . Outside of the professional environment, he likes to go hiking, watch sports, and play video games.
