Marcus is a student at Towson University graduating in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Chemistry. Following graduation, Marcus will participate in the Virtual SCIART program, where he will use computational chemistry to study the adsorption of small adsorbates and atmospheric pollutants relevant to art conservation. He always has had an appreciation for art, as it allowed him to see how different cultures have expressed themselves both in the past and present. Naturally being on a project that can potentially lead to the preservation of said art was deemed an interesting opportunity for him, especially since it involved chemistry. After the program, Marcus will pursue his goal of working in a forensic lab somewhere in the country.
