Ricardo is studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He is from Charles County, Maryland and is currently working under Dr. Gymama Slaughter to develop a vapor sensor to detect formaldehyde in the atmosphere. After his undergraduate studies, Ricardo plans to pursue a PhD in Biomechanical Engineering in order to apply his mechanical engineering knowledge in the medical field.
