Rowena Liu is a rising sophomore part of the Honors College pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Outside of her interest in science, she manages an art nonprofit (A Palette for Change) with some high school friends which utilizes art as a platform to raise awareness for and inspire change regarding social issues. Some additional hobbies of hers include ice-skating, photography and puzzles. Rowena also loves art history and is excited to further explore the overlaps between art and science this summer with the SCIART team.
